Ten times a week, the C.K. McClatchy High School graduate performs at Wynn Las Vegas as an acrobatic dancer in Le Rêve – The Dream. Staged in an “aqua theater-in-the-round,” the show is so physically demanding that every cast member must become SCUBA-certified.

Leaders of the Los Rios Community College District are intentionally misleading Sacramento voters with their campaign for Measure E, the $650 million bond on the March 3 ballot.
In two full-color campaign-style mailers that claim to be “offered as a public education service,” the district mentions only good things about the proposed bond, and brags about a “long history of efficiently managing the public’s resources.”

Friends of East Sacramento has two immediate paid part-time job openings—garden manager and volunteer coordinator—at the McKinley Rose Garden. After many years of dedicated volunteer and paid service, Lyn Pitts, who worked both jobs, is retiring this month.
