The Grim Fairy Tales

This group show plays on the traditional German fairytales by the Grimm brothers in which the artists have found inspiration in the “grim” and dark fables.

This first exhibition of French Impressionism to come to Sacramento showcases 50 works from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including pieces by Claude Monet, Auguste Rodin, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne, Henri Matisse and others.
