Mya Louw’s vivid California landscapes are in oil, pastel or acrylic painted with a palette knife or brush.
Caiti Chan’s studio is located at the Verge Center for the Arts where experimentation with materials and processes captivates her.
Born in East Sacramento, Thomas Nardinelli developed an appreciation for nature’s bounty early in life. He later translated his passion into paintings where he utilizes vibrant colors and abstract forms to portray the intricate shapes and layers in flowers.
“My artistic focus is on the unique lives and personalities of animals. I want viewers to feel the individuality in my subjects’ eyes and postures. They are lively, playful and a celebration of nature. They are typically full of color, whimsy and ornament.”
