Phil Gross has shown oil paintings in numerous regional exhibitions and galleries. He is former artist in residence in Yosemite and a UC Davis graduate, with a studio in Davis. He is known for his Northern California landscapes.
In 2012, Leslie Philpott earned her MA in art at Sac State. Her work has been featured in solo and group shows in Sacramento and beyond, and as part of the KVIE Art Auction.
Tim Collom Gallery will host a solo show this month called “Beyond Silence” featuring work by Maxine Solomon. The gallery is at 915 20th St.
Matt Bult is a Sacramento artist living in Land Park whose work is in collections both locally and beyond. Elliott Fouts Gallery recently featured Bult’s work in a one-man show called “The Pond Series.” Shown: “Untitled #9”; 18 inches by 25 inches; acrylic, graphite and watercolor on paper.
Jill Estroff lives in Curtis Park. Her love of art made her role as marketing director at the Crocker Art Museum from 1986 to 1993 a dream job. Inspired, she took art classes in the early 1990s.
