Bill Chambers grew up in Sacramento and earned a BFA at California College of Arts & Crafts in Oakland, where he studied graphic art. He later earned his MA in fine art from UC Davis. Chambers has spent most of his life teaching art to upper-level students, as well as incarcerated youth for the California Youth Authority, but has always remained a working and exhibiting artist. Currently, his interest has been Sacramento’s ports and waterways. Shown: “Starboard Refl ections,” oil on canvas, 18 inches by 24 inches. This piece is for sale at $XXX.
