When Edwin Forrest retired from a long career as a stone mason, he set down his chisel and hammer and picked up a paintbrush. He seems to effortlessly take inspirations from the tones and forms of the stones he shaped in the past. His first solo show, “Goofed Up,” will be at Beatnik Studios at 723 S St. through November.
