Elaine Bowers uses watercolors to capture the magic of Sacramento’s farmlands and Delta. Her portrayal of landscapes in both aerial and traditional perspectives has earned her signature status in the National Watercolor Society and American Watercolor Society.
Rhonda Egan is a local plein-air artist who has earned Master Artist status through Northern California Arts. Her work appears in numerous shows around town and she regularly is part of Crocker, KVIE, Yolo Arts and Effie Yeaw auctions and the Sacramento Open Studio Tour.
Jim Robison has been involved in newspaper graphics for almost three decades working at various national publications. Traditional photography has been his passion, but his recent work digitally reconstructs aerial photographs of the Sacramento Valley into what he calls “fieldscapes.” The process transforms the outlines of the original image into something larger than life.
Judith Johnson is an artist living in Land Park whose work has been included in local gallery and regional museum exhibitions. Since this is the peak of citrus season, the cover painting was done as an exercise after the artist returned from a farmers market.
