Glenna Kessler has been exhibiting art professionally since 1980. During the height of the pandemic, she found it soothing to paint combinations of portraits and flowers. She first works out the composition in sketches from photographs, but when painting begins anything can happen. Shown: “The Rose Garden,” oil on board, 26 inches by 21 inches. This work won a curator’s award in the 2022 PBS KVIE Art Auction and is in a private collection.
