Clean, lean and healthy snacks are the point at Vibe Health Bar. Open since March 2016, Vibe’s goal is to bring healthy food and drink options to the heart of the Broadway Triangle neighborhood in Oak Park. Açai bowls are one specialty: “superfood” açai berries mixed with organic ingredients such as coconut, local honey, granola, pineapple and bee pollen. Vibe features salads, sandwiches, wraps and unique smoothies. Notable is the “City of Trees,” a blend of kale, pineapple, mango, jalapeño, basil, goji berry, ginger, coconut water and Himalayan salt, which Vibe owner Brandon Brodzky (shown behind bar) insists “tastes like sunshine.” Brodzky and his business partner Blake Houston (at left) have redesigned the space to feel cozy like a coffee shop, with free wifi and room to relax. A mini art gallery featuring local artists enhances the walls. Vibe carries products from local purveyors, including Chocolate Fish Coffee, Brass Clover Cold Brew Coffee, Revive Kombucha and Zeal Kombucha, giving customers easy access to local, healthy food and drinks. This small, but mighty Sacramento restaurant is worth the trip for both your health and taste buds!
