Elaine Bowers, who passed away earlier this year, used watercolors to capture the magic of Sacramento’s farmlands and delta. Her work has appeared on Inside covers more than a dozen times. Bowers’ portrayal of landscapes in both aerial and traditional perspectives earned her signature status in the National Watercolor Society and American Watercolor Society.
