Cathryn Rakich is a ceramic artist who creates lifelike sculptures of wildlife found along the American River Parkway. Her work has since expanded to colorful, whimsical creatures. Through her art, she hopes to bring an appreciation for the beauty, grace and intelligence of all animals. Shown: “Casper,” 12 inches x 8 inches x 6 inches.
