Marie Crockett has been studying art since childhood. She earned an AA degree in fi ne art and is a Northern California Arts Master Artist with experience in acrylic, acrylic with epoxy, oil, watercolor, pastel and Sumi-E ink paintings. “Multi-faceted, Many Mediums and Styles of Marie Crockett” takes place at Elk Grove Fine Arts Center from March 7–26. A First Saturday Reception is March 7 from 4–7 p.m. In this collection, Crockett’s art ranges from striking landscapes to fl oral- and animal-themed still lifes.
