Sun & Soil Juice Company

Featured: Inside Sacramento – Midtown-Sutter
2019

Molly Brown and Tatiana Kaiser opened Sun & Soil in June 2014 with a simple mission: infuse raw, organic nutrition into the community through delicious juice, smoothies and food with produce from local farms. Sun & Soil seeks out the freshest, non-GMO fruits and vegetables to ensure that all drinks are naturally raw, vegan and gluten-free with no processed sugars. Committed to protecting the environment from the inside out, Brown and Kaiser reduce their carbon footprint with a glass bottle exchange program as they move from plastic or Styrofoam options. Sun & Soil specializes in cold-pressed juice, which minimizes heat and the oxidation of nutrients. The process places two tons of pressure onto the pulp to extract the juices. It releases three to five times the amount of micronutrients, enzymes and flavor compared to traditional juicing methods. The cold-press method allows for a shelf life of up to five days, making it easy for customers to enjoy fresh juice as a part of their daily nutrition. Sun & Soil offers an array of flavors and guidance to help reboot digestive systems in most delicious ways. Also featured are organic snacks such as goji bites and house-made granola, served within a quaint, sunshine-yellow storefront. Look for select Sacramento restaurants that serve their juices.
